ב-14.10.23 עזבו חמש ממשפחות הקהילה. לאחר מכן הגיעו למקום מתנחלים, השחיתו רכוש, חסמו יחד עם הצבא את הכביש המוביל לקהילה והכריזו שטח צבאי סגור על האדמות החקלאיות ומטעי הזיתים.
