a-Zaitun/Ras Abu Sbitan

A crossing point in the Separation Barrier, separating al-‘Eizariyah from the neighborhood of a-Tur and the rest of East Jerusalem. Staffed around the clock by Border Police and private security companies. Closed to Palestinians, with the exception of East Jerusalem residents and permit holders, who are allowed to cross only on foot.
