Kifl Hares, Salfit District: Settlers invade village and stone homes and parked cars
1 February 2021
In the evening hours of 1 February 2021, dozens of settlers escorted by soldiers invaded the town of Kifl Hares in Salfit District. They stoned homes and cars, smashing a window in one home and the windows of seven cars.
Once every few months, the Israeli military blocks the entrances to the town, sets up roadblocks throughout it and forbids foot and vehicle traffic by local residents to make way for Jewish worshippers visiting tombs they believe to be those of Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, which lie within the town. The worshippers remain near the tombs overnight.
