Tel Rumeidah, Hebron city center: Settler throws stones at home, smashing solar panels

On Saturday, 1 January 2022, at around 5:00 A.M., members of the Abu ‘Eishah family were woken by noises on the roof of their home. When one of the family members, Walid (21), looked out the window to understand what was happening, he saw a settler standing on the street throwing stones at the roof, and then fleeing. Walid Abu ‘Eishah went up to the roof and discovered that the settler had smashed two solar panels. He called the Israeli DCO and was given the phone number of an Israeli police officer. Abu ‘Eishah contacted the officer and, at his request, sent him photos of the smashed panels. He has not heard from the police since.
