Deir Nizam, Ramallah District: Settlers cut down 12 fruit trees

On Sunday, 23 January 2022, at around 9:00 A.M., a village resident (70) discovered that settlers had cut down 10 olive trees and two fig trees, all seven years old, on his land north of the village. The farmer called soldiers who were stationed nearby. They came and assessed the damage, and suggested he file a complaint at the police station. The farmer chose not to file a complaint as it would be futile.
