Yasuf, Salfit District: Settlers place rocks on road and attack moving cars with stones, hitting at least one

On the evening of 16 December 2021, settlers gathered on Road 4775 at the entrance to the settlement of Kfar Tapuah, which was built about 500 meters northeast of the village of Yasuf. The settlers placed rocks in the middle of the road and threw stones at cars driving towards Yasuf and Salfit. One of the cars belonged to Ousamah Mesleh (44). The stones damaged the chassis but Mesleh drove on, fleeing the area.

The settlers remained on site until about 11:00 P.M., when they tried to invade Yasuf. Village residents came towards them, fending them off by throwing stones. At that point, soldiers arrived. They fired teargas at the residents and pushed the settlers back towards the settlement.
