Burqah, Nablus District: Settlers attack auto repair shop with stones and batons

On Thursday, 26 May 2022, at around 11:00 A.M., seven masked settlers arrived at an auto repair shop located at the entrance to the town, on Route 60. The shop was already attacked twice this year, once by soldiers and once by settlers escorted by soldiers. The settlers threw stones at the shop, and one entered its office and smashed the contents with a metal baton. They injured two Palestinians and left. A military jeep arrived at the entrance to the town, and the soldiers inside it fired about five tear gas canisters at residents who were trying to defend the shop. Walid Abu ‘Omar (31) was injured in the leg during the clashes with the soldiers, and was taken to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus.
