Qaryut, Nablus District: Settlers coming to Qaryut spring with Border Police escort attack protesting residents

On Friday, 1 July 2022, at around 1:00 P.M., dozens of settlers arrived with a Border Police escort at the Qaryut Spring in Nablus District under the pretext of holding a prayer there. The officers fired tear gas canisters and hurled stun grenades at the villagers who had gathered in the area in protest of the settlers’ entry into their land, causing a fire that consumed dozens of fruit trees on the land of one of the farmers.
