Civil Administration orders about 350 trees uprooted in the area of Um Kbeish, south of Khirbet ‘Atuf in the northern Jordan Valley

On Sunday, 16 October 2022, farmers in the area of Um Kbeish, south of Khirbet ‘Atuf, found “Warning of Required Evacuation” orders in their plots of land. The orders related to about 350 trees, some of them olive trees, planted in an area of about 100 dunams, claiming the land is state land. On 6 October 2022, Civil Administration personnel placed an order to uproot some 140 trees in an olive grove in the area, based on the same claim.
