Burin, Nablus District: Israeli settlers attack Palestinian residents and homes with stones and burn 10 olive trees. Military fires tear gas at residents

On Friday, 21 October 2022, at around 3:00 P.M., a group of 10 settlers, some of them masked and armed, arrived at farmland located near the houses in the eastern part of the village of Burin. The settlers threw stones at several farmers who were on their land, including Akram ‘Imran (52), who was injured in the arm, and four other farmers who came to his aid. Roughly 30 minutes later, soldiers arrived at the scene and fired live rounds in the air. They also fired tear gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at village residents who came to defend the farmers. One resident was injured in both legs by “rubber” bullets. A Palestinian ambulance that arrived at the scene took the wounded to be treated. The settlers set fire to 10 olive trees on the land of one farmer and left the area at around 7:00 P.M.
