Turmusaya, Ramallah District: Israeli settler vandalizes Palestinian car and sets it on fire in front of soldiers

On Monday, 2 January 2023, at around 3:00 P.M., a settler accompanied by two soldiers arrived in the northern neighborhood of the town of Turmusaya, located about 50 meters away from Route 60, and used stones to vandalize a car belonging to Yusef Salah (77), who was not at home at that time. The settler smashed the windows and then set the car on fire in front of the soldiers, who did not intervene. The settler and soldiers then left the neighborhood, and a Palestinian firetruck called by local residents put out the fire. The next day, Israel Police officers came to the neighborhood and took Salah’s statement.
