She’b al-Batem, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settlers and soldiers try to stop Palestinian from installing fence, which settlers damage part of after it is

On Tuesday, 28 November 2022, Raed al-Jundi (50) began installing a barbed-wire fence around his plot, which lies east of the community of She’b al-Batem. For three days straight, settlers arrived there, called soldiers and demanded they stop al-Jundi’s work. Every time, the soldiers detained al-Jundi for several hours and each he then continued working after the settlers and soldiers left.

On Sunday, 4 December 2022, al-Jundi arrived at his plot and discovered settlers had damaged a 100-meter section of the 1.2-km fence he had installed, as well as 40 metal posts.
