Route 55, near Osarin, Nablus District: Israeli settlers attack Palestinian car with stones, injuring a toddler

On Friday, 23 December 2022, at around 3:30 P.M., Sanad and Amal Hamdan drove back from Jericho to their home in the village of ‘Einabus with their three daughters: Latifah (3), Rawan (18 months) and Shirin (6 months). As they drove on Route 55, near the entrance to the village of Osarin, settlers attacked their car with stones, smashing one of the passenger windows. Rawan was hit in the face by glass shards and treated by Suhaib Samarah, a volunteer paramedic who happened to pass by. Her parents then took her to a medical clinic in the nearby village of Jamma’in, where she received further care before the family returned home.
