Turmusaya, Ramallah District: Israeli settler destroys about 20 dunams of wheat and grain crops. Soldiers and police officers do not stop him

On Wednesday, 14 December 2022, a settler drove a tractor into a farm lying east of the village of Turmusaya that belongs to more than 20 families. The settler plowed over and destroyed about 20 dunams of wheat and grain crops. The families called the Palestinian DCO for help, and several Israeli soldiers arrived and asked the settler to leave. He ignored them and continued destroying the crops, and the soldiers gave up and left. Later, police officers also arrived and approached the settler, asking him to leave. He ignored them, too, and continued destroying the crops, and the officers left the area.

Since 2020, B’Tselem has documented 18 incidents in which settlers destroyed Palestinian farmland in Turmusaya.
