Route 60, Hebron District: Israeli settlers attack Palestinian cars with stones, in front of soldiers

On Friday, 27 January 2023, at around 9:00 P.M., about 50 settlers, escorted by soldiers, gathered on Route 60 near the settlement of Beit Hagai and attacked passing cars with stones. The settlers broke the windshield and damaged the body of 24-year-old Karam Ezghayer’s car.

Ezghayer pulled over by the side of the road and called the police. The soldiers present at the scene went over to him and ordered him to drive on, as the settlers attacked another car. Israeli police officers arrived in the meantime, but the soldiers would not let Ezghayer speak to them and ordered him to leave.
