‘Ein al-Hilweh, Jordan Valley: Israeli settlers attack Palestinians herding cows

On Friday, 12 April 2023, at around 8:00 PM, while Muhib Daraghmeh (35) and Muhammad Daraghmeh (24) from the community of ‘Ein al-Hilweh were herding their cows east of the community, three or four Israeli settlers arrived, shouted at the herders, and demanded they leave. When the herders ignored them, the settlers beat and kicked them as they tried to defend themselves. Other residents of the community who noticed what was happening alerted soldiers, who came and called an Israeli ambulance. The soldiers let the settlers leave without detaining them, and the herders were treated on site for the bruises they sustained.
