‘Urif, Nablus District: Settlers attack truck and set it on fire after driver flees

On Sunday, 2 July 2023, at around 5:30 P.M., approximately ten settlers attacked truck driver Radwan Safadi (36), a resident of ‘Urif who had stopped near the quarry next to the road connecting ‘Urif and Asirah al-Qibliyah to load merchandise. The settlers hit the truck with metal batons and Safadi got out and fled. The settlers then poured flammable material on the truck and set it on fire. Palestinian residents of the area put out the fire while an armed settler and soldiers escorting him watched from the sidelines without doing anything.
