Qaryut, Nablus District: Israeli settlers invade freshwater spring, escorted by soldiers who fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian residents who tried to repel them

On Friday, 4 August 2023, at around 1:00 P.M., settlers returned to the area of the freshwater spring on the west side of Qaryut, escorted by soldiers in two military jeeps. When residents gathered to prevent the settlers from accessing the spring, the soldiers fired tear gas canisters at them.

Some of the residents suffered from gas inhalation, and the canisters ignited a fire on residents’ lands, but the crops were unharmed.
