Kh. ‘Ein al-Hilweh, Jordan Valley: Israeli settlers attack Palestinian shepherds with clubs

Muhib Daraghmeh were grazing their flock in pasturelands east of their homes in the community of Kh. ‘Ein al-Hilweh, two settlers armed with metal clubs and a pipe arrived in an ATV and attacked them. The settlers hit Muhib Daraghmeh’s arm and tore Muhammad Daraghmeh’s shirt.

A few minutes later, a man from the Jordan Valley settlement regional council arrived and attempted to get the settlers away from the area. Another settler arrived at the same time and started pushing one of the shepherds, who ran away.

A few minutes later, all the settlers left and the family members called an ambulance which took Muhib Daraghmeh to a hospital in Tubas, where he was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his arm. Daraghmeh was discharged after his arm was bandaged.
