Sinjil, Ramallah District: Israeli settlers enter farmland, destroy crops and property and steal bags of fertilizer

On Saturday, 23 September 2023, at around 6:00 A.M., Nu’man Shabaneh (66) arrived at his land in the a-Rafid area, north of the village of Sinjil and discovered settlers had cut part of the fence that surrounded the plot, broke 20 olive trees, and eight-year-old almond trees, stole 20 bags of fertilizer, emptied tanks containing 500 liters of water and moved barrels that protected seedlings from wild animals.  

On 5 May 2023, settlers grazed sheep and destroyed crops on Shabaneh’s land, and on 15 May 2023, soldiers who were escorting about 30 masked settlers drove Shabaneh and other farmers off their lands.
