Khirbet Wadi a-Rakhim, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settlers attack Yatta municipality employee and damage tractor

On Friday, 15 September 2023, in the early afternoon, Ribhi Rib’i (20) was carrying out work to lay water pipes in Khirbet Wadi a-Rakhim in the South Hebron Hills, as part of an EU-funded project to supply the community with water. As he was working, two settlers arrived in an ATV, one of them carrying a rifle, blocked the tractor’s path, assaulted Rib’i and pulled him out of the tractor. The vehicle turned over, but Rib’i managed to jump off it and was not hurt. The settlers then fled the scene.
