On Wednesday, 25 October 2023, at around 11:00 A.M., settlers drove a bulldozer into farmland belonging to Hafez al-Harini (50) southeast of the village and ran down olive trees and grapevines. At around noon, four Israeli and two foreign activists arrived at the scene to document the damage and came across soldiers who fired live rounds at them. The activists fled into the village.
