Yasuf, Salfit District: Armed settlers threatened olive harvesters, vandalized harvest equipment and stole four phones

On Saturday, 2 December 2023, around midday, the ‘Atyani family went to pick olives on their land southwest of the village of Yasuf. Around 1:30 P.M., about 20 settlers, some of them armed with rifles, arrived and threatened to shoot the family. The settlers hit two members of the family, vandalized an electric olive-shaking machine, stole four phones and tea and coffee kettles, and emptied all the sacks of olives the family picked on the ground. The family fled the scene, leaving their belongings behind.
