On Monday, 12 Feb. 2024, around 2:30 P.M., Shaher Qat (56) was working farmland in the southern part of the village of Madama with his digger, when four armed settlers arrived along with an armed settlement guard in military uniform. The latter ordered Qat to leave and when Qat complied and started turning the digger around to drive away, fired at the ground. The other settlers started throwing stones at the digger, smashing the rear window.
