A-Tuwani, South Hebron Hills: Israeli soldiers known to Palestinian residents as settlers beat shepherds and Israeli activists, throw stones at the sheep, fire in the air, point guns at the activists and push them

On Wednesday, 10 January 2024, while Palestinian shepherds from the village of a-Tuwani were grazing their sheep in the Wadi al-Hamra area south of the village, two soldiers known to them as settlers arrived in a military jeep with other soldiers. They proceeded to attack the shepherds, beating them with the butts of their rifles, throwing stones at their flock and firing shots in the air. A few minutes later, Israeli activists arrived at the scene and the soldiers pushed them as well and pointed their guns at them. After about 20 minutes, the shepherds returned to their homes.
