Masafer Bani Na’im, South Hebron Hills: Settlers harass association workers, vandalize car and steal property

On Saturday, 16 March 2024, at around 7:00 A.M., when the Bani Na’im Association came to the community to collect residents’ sheep and goat milk pales for the association’s project, three settlers arrived in a car. They got out of the car, and one of them immediately punctured the tires of an association worker’s car and demanded the car keys. When the workers refused to give him the keys, the settler opened the hood, cut cables and stole the car battery and two milk pales. After a few minutes, another car with four settlers arrived. At that point, the workers had backed away from the scene and watched from a nearby hill as the settlers smashed the car’s windows with rocks and stones, damaging its body and then leaving.

The workers filed a complaint with the Palestinian DCO and in the evening, a crane truck took the car to the village of Bani Na’im.
