Bariyet Hizma, al-Quds District: Settlers steal Palestinian property

The community of Bariyet Hizma was forced out by settler violence on 31 October 2023, but residents from the community and the village of Hizma continue to access the site for farm work. On Sunday, 11 August 2024, around 1:30 P.M., while Ibrahim Khatib (48) a resident of the village of Hizma, was grazing his flock in the pasturelands near the community, seven settlers arrived and he fled with his flock. Later, after the settlers left, Khatib returned and discovered that the settlers had entered the community compound and stolen 19 hens from coops, four generators and a gas tank.
