Um al-Kheir, South Hebron Hills: Four settlers attacked residents in a hospitality tent, cursing and threatening them

On Saturday, 16 March 2024, at around 6:00 P.M., while some community residents were having an iftar meal (the Ramadan fast-breaking meal) in the community hospitality tent, several stones were thrown at it. The diners came out and saw four settlers they recognized throwing stones, swearing and threatening them from an outpost set up about five meters from the hospitality tent. The residents called the police, and the settlers backed away from the area.

A police car and two military jeeps arrived about half an hour later; the officers suggested the residents file a complaint at the police station and left.
