Madama, Nablus District: Settlers chased away olive harvesters and attacked homes with stones. Soldiers fired live shots that penetrated a home. The next day, soldiers punctured car tires

On Tuesday, 1 October 2024, members of the Nassar family were harvesting olives in their grove approximately 200 meters from the houses on the southern edge of the village of Madama, when they saw about five settlers approaching them. The family quickly gathered their tools and returned to the village.

The settlers continued toward the village and began pelting homes with stones. Residents gathered to defend the houses. At that point, two military jeeps arrived and the settlers left. The soldiers then opened live fire at the residents, with one bullet hitting a window in the Nassar family's home and penetrating a room. Fortunately, the family was not yet home.

The soldiers wandered among homes in the village for about an hour and then left.

The following day, 2 October 2024, members of the Nassar family were harvesting olives in another grove they own, located on the northern side of the village. Around noon, the family noticed a military jeep parked by their car, about 100 meters from the grove, and saw soldiers puncture two of its tires.
