Qusrah, Nablus District: Soldiers and settlers drove harvesters out and stole sacks of olives

On Monday morning, 14 October 2024, four members of the Dar Hassan family were harvesting their olive grove east of the village of Qusrah, which spans five dunams (0.5 hectares), and has about 100 trees, when a settlement guard they know arrived and ordered them to leave. The family refused and the guard left, returning a few minutes later with three soldiers and five other settlers. He again ordered the family to leave. The family again refused, and explained that they had only five trees left to harvest. The guard demanded their car keys, and when they refused to hand them over, forced them to leave at gunpoint, threatening to shoot them if they returned – in front of the soldiers. The family left without their tools or the harvested olives. When they returned the next day to collect them, they found they had been stolen.
