On Wednesday, 12 June 2024, at around 9:30 P.M., Harbi Malitat (45), was driving home on Route 555. About 100 meters after he crossed the Beit Furik checkpoint, a car blocked his way, and three settlers got out. They attacked Malitat’s car with clubs, shattered the windshield, pepper-sprayed him in the face and left.
A passing driver took Malitat to the clinic in Beit Furik. He received treatment and then returned to the site of the incident to collect his car and drove home.
