Birin, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settlers torch Palestinian cars

On Monday, 16 December 2024, at around 2:00 A.M., Farid Burqan (36) woke up to the sound of shattering glass and explosions outside his home. When he stepped out to see what was going on, he saw three settlers fleeing in a car and his own car on fire. Local residents who gathered in the area put out the fire, and Burqan called the police in the morning. Officers came, dusted for fingerprints and collected the Molotov cocktail the settlers used to torch the car.
