Burqah, Ramallah District: Israeli settlers attacked a mosque, a car and a house with stones

On Monday, 11 November 2024, around 5:00 A.M., two residents of Burqah, Khdeir Samrin (73) and ‘Adel Mu’tan (66), drove to the village mosque. When they arrived, Samrin turned the car around, dropped Mu’tan off, and was about to drive away to look for parking when the two saw about 10 masked settlers holding stones and standing about 150 meters away. The settlers began running towards the car, attacked it with stones, smashed its rear window, and then began attacking the mosque with stones. Samrin quickly drove toward the center of the village and called residents, while Mu’tan entered the mosque to warn the worshippers. The worshippers came out of the mosque and, together with other residents who arrived at the scene, managed to drive away the settlers who ran towards the outpost located about a kilometer north of the village.
