Khrbet khallet a-Dabe’, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settlers grazed sheep on privately owned Palestinian land, causing damage

On Sunday, 19 May 2024, while S’ud a-Dababseh (53) was grazing his sheep on his land south of the community of Khirbet Khallet a-Dabe’, two settlers entered his plot with a flock of over a hundred sheep, which began feeding on the branches of the fruit trees. One of the settlers was armed with a rifle, and the other appeared to be a teenager. Dababseh demanded they leave his plot, but then five more settlers joined them. The settlers left about half an hour later, with the sheep having damaged the fruit trees. It was only then that the police, called by Dababseh, arrived. After watching the video he took, they suggested he file a complaint at the police station and left.

The settlers damaged dozens of trees.
