She’b al-Batem, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settler harassed Palestinian residents in their homes for about a week

The guard of an Israeli settlement, known to local residents, harassed them repeatedly for a week starting on 23 May 2024. He went up to homes, peered through their windows, shone lights inside and flew a drone over them. He demanded international activists staying in the community show IDs.

On the first day, the residents called the police, but officers who came while the settlement guard was there, let him stay in the village. Residents contacted the police the following days as well, but no officers came.
