Farkhah community (‘Iraq a-Sakhrah), Nablus District: Palestinian community uprooted due to settler harassment

On 28 October 2024, settlers established the outpost of Havat Shuvael southwest of the settlement of Ariel. Since then, residents of the Farkhah (‘Iraq a-Sakhrah) community, located northwest of the village of Farhah, Nablus District, suffered harassment from the outpost settlers.

The three families comprising the community, originally from the Bani Na’im area in the South Hebron Hills, moved to the area about 20 years ago. On 1 December 2024, the entire community, 18 people, including 12 minors, uprooted with their flocks of about 800 sheep and moved to the village of Farkhah.
