Khallet al-Humos, Yatta outskirts, South Hebron Hills: Israeli settlers vandalized and cut down about 500 trees and destroyed a fence

On Monday, 1 December 2025, in the morning, ‘Abdallah ‘Abid, 60, arrived at his family’s land, near his house, and discovered that settlers had cut down and vandalized about 500 olive and other fruit trees and destroyed a fence about 500 meters long. He called the police, but they sent no officers to the scene and only suggested that he file a complaint at the police station in Kiryat Arba.
