Israel continues demolishing Masafer Yatta communities, demolishing all the homes in the northern section of Khirbet al-Fakhit and a home in Khirbet Khallet a-Dabe’

On Tuesday morning, 8 September 2026, Civil Administration personnel, accompanied by soldiers and four diggers, arrived at Khirbet al-Fakhit in Masafer Yatta and demolished five homes belonging to four families comprising 32 people, including 11 minors. The forces then continued north to Khallet a-Dabe’, where they demolished the home of a family of seven, including four minors. All five families were left homeless. Six days earlier, forces had demolished the homes of 12 families in nearby Khirbet a-Taban, leaving 70 people, including 28 children, homeless. Photo by Nasser Nawajaa, B'Tselem
