Settler attack in ‘Urif, April 2013

On 30 April 2013, after a Palestinian killed Yitzhar settler Evyatar Borovsky, settlers attacked Palestinians and damaged their property throughout the West Bank. In video footage taken by a B’Tselem volunteer in ‘Urif, settlers are seen throwing stones at a school that had, fortunately, been evacuated for fear of such attacks. Soldiers are seen making no visible attempt to stop the settlers, nor identify or detain them. Later, some twenty settlers are seen raiding the village with the army making no attempt to remove them.
